New technologies, and strategies used in the war
Due to the static nature of WWI which led to trenchware fare between the two
fighting powers, many weapons were invented to increase the chances of that
brake through success story to bring the war to an end. We began to see weapon
systems in 1914 become more leathel by 1918, we also saw the use of systems not
designed for war, become military weapons, and we saw the invention of new
systems designed to break the stalemate of the war.
With the invention of
the Airplane (called Aero-plane back then) war would be forever changed.
Near the end of the War, the tank was the Allied Power's solution to the
trench line combat and would give the Allies the ability to break through lines
of barbwire and face enemy machineguns with ease.
